Maintenance Engineer – FMCG
Shift: Monday‑Friday (6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm rotating)
Salary: £45,000‑£50,000
Overview
I'm working with a well‑established, global FMCG business looking to strengthen their engineering team with a hands‑on Maintenance Engineer. This is a fast‑paced, automated environment where you'll play a key role in keeping operations running efficiently and reliably.
Responsibilities
* Fault finding and repair across electrical & mechanical systems
* Maintaining production equipment and site utilities
* Delivering PPM activities to a high standard
* Responding to breakdowns and minimising downtime
* Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
* Working closely with the wider engineering and production teams
Qualifications
* Level 3 Electrical qualification (or equivalent)
* Strong hands‑on maintenance experience
* Confident fault finding across electrical and mechanical systems
* Experience within FMCG or manufacturing environments
* Good understanding of H&S and maintenance best practices
* Proactive, team‑focused approach
