Solutions Analyst –Smart Ticketing Systems
Location: Hybrid (2 days in office per week)
Salary: £69,000

Gravitas is looking for a Solutions Analyst with strong experience in smart ticketing (such as ITSO, OnBus, EMV, and QR Code technologies) to help shape the future of transport across a north-west transportation authority.
This position would be perfect for an individual looking to take that next step into a solution architect or someone who is already established and looking for a role to make their own.
Key Responsibilities
* Architect and implement smart ticketing solutions across diverse transport networks.
* Collaborate with clients, partners, and internal teams to translate business needs into scalable technical designs.
* Provide technical leadership across projects involving ITSO, OnBus, EMV contactless, and QR-based ticketing.
* Mentor and support a small team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture.
* Ensure solutions meet industry standards for scalability, security, and interoperability.
* Work onsite two days per week, with flexibility to work remotely.
You will need:
* Proven experience in smart ticketing systems.
* Hands-on expertise with ITSO, OnBus, EMV, or QR Code technologies.
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills — able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
* Ability to simplify complex technical challenges into actionable solutions and documentation.
* A proactive, collaborative, and delivery-focused mindset.
What you’ll get:
* Salary: £63,000 to £69.000
* 29 Holiday days plus bank holidays
* between 5.5% and 12.5% Pension Scheme contributions
* Flexible and hybrid working (2 days a week on site)
