The key function of the Cover Supervisor is to supervise whole classes during the short‑term absence of teachers, ensuring a calm, purposeful learning environment in which pupils remain engaged and on task. When there are no lessons requiring a teacher, the Cover Supervisor will support the teacher’s lesson plan, manage student behaviour, and assist pupils with assignments and activities.
