About The Role
Are you ready for a rewarding role where every day you make a real difference? We’re looking for an experienced Senior Support Worker to join our team at West Cross, supporting young people with complex needs associated with autism.
What You’ll Do
* Lead and support our staff team to deliver excellent care
* Support young people’s emotional and physical wellbeing, including personal care
* Encourage independence and act as a positive role model
* Get involved in fun, active activities — from football and fishing to outdoor adventures
* Support transport to and from school, appointments, and activities
* Keep accurate records and help maintain a warm, welcoming home environment
* Celebrate the achievements and progress of the young people you support
What You’ll Need
* Previous experience in a care role, ideally supporting young people with complex needs or autism
* A caring nature, resilience, and strong communication skills
* Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
* A full UK driving licence — essential for supporting young people with transport
* Right to work in the UK (with at least 12 months remaining on your visa, if applicable)
