Location: Keelby (Own transport required)
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm
Pay: Competitive, based on experience
Looking for a hands-on role in a busy outdoor environment? The Best Connection is recruiting a Yard Operative to join a local, family‑run timber business in Keelby!

What We're Looking For:
✔️ No previous experience required - full training provided
✔️ Physically fit and able to handle manual lifting
✔️ Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
✔️ Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
✔️ Good attention to detail and teamwork skills
✔️ Experience in a yard or timber-based role (beneficial but not essential)
✔️ Good understanding of Health & Safety (advantageous)

Key Responsibilities:
* Assist with loading and unloading timber and building materials
* Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately
* Store materials correctly to maintain quality and safety
* Keep the yard clean, organised, and hazard‑free
* Carry out basic stock checks and report shortages
* Provide friendly, helpful service to customers and delivery drivers
* Follow all Health & Safety procedures at all times
