Afterschool Club Playworker – Make After-School Hours the Best Hours!
Location: Haringey
Pay: £14 per hour (weekly PAYE pay – no umbrella faff)
Contract: Part-time, Ongoing (with potential to go Temp-to-Perm)
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 3pm – 6pm
About the Role
Do you believe that after-school should be about more than just homework and snacks? We’re looking for a playful, caring, and energetic Afterschool Club Playworker to join a fantastic primary school team in Haringey.
You’ll be the friendly face children look forward to seeing at the end of the school day, running fun activities, keeping everyone safe, and making sure those hours are filled with laughter, creativity, and calm.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Leading games, arts & crafts, and activities that children genuinely enjoy
* Creating a welcoming, safe, and fun environment
* Supporting pupils to build friendships and confidence outside the classroom
* Working closely with school staff to keep everything running smoothly
What We’re Looking For
* Experience working with children is essential (school, nursery, clubs, or similar)
* A positive, reliable, and caring approach
* Energy, creativity, and a good sense of humour
* Team spirit—you’ll be working alongside other staff to keep things fun and safe

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
