Job Title: Criminology Lecturer
Location: Lancashire
Contract Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Rate: £200 - £250 per day
Eden Brown are currently recruiting for a dedicated and knowledgeable A Level Criminology Lecturer on behalf of a well-established Further Education College in Lancashire.
This is a full-time temporary role to start asap for the rest of the academic year.
Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality A Level Criminology lessons to Year 1 and Year 2 students
* Plan, prepare and deliver lessons aligned with the A Level Criminology curriculum
* Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support progress
* Support students in developing analytical, evaluative, and research skills
* Monitor and track student performance and attainment
* Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and progress
* Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
Qualifications
* A degree in Criminology, Sociology, Law, or a related discipline
* Teaching qualification (PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) or relevant teaching experience in further education
* Experience delivering A Level Criminology or Level 3 Criminology qualifications
* Strong communication and classroom management skills
* A commitment to supporting student achievement and engagement
* Candidates must also have DBS on the update service
