Overview
Join an exciting project capturing live performance sessions for emerging artists in London. This role involves filming a band-supported artist in a dynamic, creative environment, producing high-quality video content for a platform dedicated to showcasing up-and-coming musical talent. The session will require a mix of handheld, static, and tracking shots to deliver a visually engaging final product. This is an onsite opportunity with immediate start and the potential for future collaborations.
Responsibilities
* Film live performance sessions with a band and artist, ensuring professional-quality footage.
* Execute three distinct camera setups for each performance: handheld, static front-facing, and tracking shots.
* Collaborate with the platform team to understand creative direction and session requirements.
* Set up and manage video equipment on location in London.
* Capture audio and video in a way that highlights the energy and authenticity of the live performance.
* Deliver raw and/or edited footage according to project specifications and deadlines.
* Maintain a professional and adaptable approach during fast-paced, live recording environments.
Skills And Requirements
* Proven experience in videography, particularly with live music or performance settings.
* Proficiency with professional video cameras and related equipment.
* Strong understanding of shot composition, lighting, and audio capture for live sessions.
* Ability to operate handheld, static, and tracking shots smoothly.
* Experience working onsite and adapting to changing conditions.
* Based in or able to travel to London for the shoot.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under time constraints.
* Portfolio or examples of previous live session or music-related video work preferred.
