Overview
A leading multi-national environmental & engineering consultancy is seeking a highly motivated Senior Acoustic Consultant to join their expanding team. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality technical work, contribute to report writing in line with policy and guidance, and support client-facing activities.
Our client offers 5 main services including:
Acoustic Consultancy: Environmental noise assessments, building acoustics, and noise & vibration monitoring.
Environmental Permitting & Compliance: Supporting clients in meeting regulatory requirements for environmental management.
Engineering & Design: Sustainable engineering solutions across various sectors.
Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA): Comprehensive services to assess and mitigate the environmental impact of development projects.
Health & Safety: Consultancy and training to improve safety and operational efficiency.Job Responsibilities:
Conduct noise monitoring, modelling (using software such as CadnaA ), and analysis for various projects, including industrial, commercial, and infrastructure developments.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior consultants, ensuring professional development and knowledge sharing within the team.
Prepare detailed technical reports and deliver recommendations to clients on noise control strategies and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.Candidate Requirements:
A degree in Acoustics, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Demonstrable experience in an acoustic consultancy role.
Membership of the Institute of Acoustics (IOA).
Proven experience in environmental acoustics.
Expertise in using acoustic modelling software such as CadnaA, or similar.
A full UK driving licence, as travel to client sites will be required.What’s On Offer:
