Audit Assistant Manager – Public Sector Audit
As an Audit Assistant Manager within our Public Sector Audit service line, you will work on external audit engagements for local government and NHS bodies, managing a portfolio of clients and leading stakeholder discussions.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS102.
* Use audit software and Microsoft packages efficiently.
* Engage with clients to discuss business challenges and needs.
* Maintain and develop technical knowledge to lead valuable client discussions.
Qualifications
* Professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post‑qualification experience.
* Confidence managing a large audit portfolio.
* Experience managing audits of public sector bodies and complex technical matters.
* Project management experience.
* Experience with IFRS and auditing listed companies (beneficial).
* Extensive experience of audit software and Microsoft packages.
