Main duties of the job
Who we are:
Situated within Cardiology, we operate two Cardiac Cath Labs and a 10-bed Daycase Unit providing specialized care including: Coronary Angiography, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (Pressure Wire & IVUS), managing chronic total occlusions, various pacing including ICD, CRT, sICD, and our ablation service. We also deliver a 24-hour Emergency PPCI Service, which you will support as part of the On-Call team.
You will be supported in all areas of the Cath Lab and trained to scrub, circulate, and manage patients through pre-assessment, admission, and safe discharge. Once competent, you will join the on-call rota supporting patients admitted directly from within the hospital, ED, 999, and Air Ambulance.
