Maintenance Team Leader - FMCG
Location: Droitwich
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - Days Only (No nights!)

About the Role
We're looking for an experienced and hands‑on Maintenance Team Leader to join a high‑performance engineering team within a fast‑paced FMCG manufacturing facility based in Droitwich. You'll play a key role in leading a team of engineers to ensure maximum uptime across all production and packaging equipment, driving continuous improvement and ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, motivate, and support a team of multi‑skilled engineers on shift
* Ensure effective execution of planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance tasks
* Prioritise and manage breakdowns to minimise downtime
* Collaborate with production and operations teams to improve OEE and reliability
* Maintain and enforce health & safety and compliance standards
* Support training and development of team members
* Monitor performance data and drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Support site projects, installations, and commissioning activities
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a maintenance or engineering environment
* Strong background in FMCG, food manufacturing, or similar high‑speed production industries
* Excellent knowledge of mechanical and electrical maintenance, fault finding, and PPM
* Experience with automation systems, conveyors, packaging lines, and PLC fault diagnosis
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
* Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
