The Best Connection are currently seeking Grounds Maintenance Operatives f or our well established client that provideS landscape maintenance and soft landscaping services to local authorities across Hampshire, Surrey, Sussex and Kent serving commercial, public and private sectors.

Hours: 07:00-16:00
Shift Pattern : Monday-Friday
Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities of the Grounds Maintenance Operative:
* Carry out grass cutting using strimmers, pedestrian mowers, and ride-on mowers with trailers (full training provided)
* Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of all sites
* Operate, maintain, and care for vehicles and equipment
* Perform hedge cutting, shrub and border maintenance, pruning, and leaf clearance
* Undertake landscaping and environmental improvement works, including turfing, seeding, and planting
* Work safely at all times, complying with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements of the Grounds Maintenance Operative:
* Ideally looking for gardening/landscaping experience
* Full UK driving licence to get to site
* Experience with ride-on mowers, strimmers, and hedge cutters is an advantage but not essential
* Competent and confident in towing a trailer is an advantage
* Health and safety awareness through training and experience
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to follow instructions
* Comfortable with manual work in all weather conditions
