AWS Data Engineer - Newcastle.

Hybrid Working: Please note - This role will require you to work from our Newcastle, Cobalt Business Park office 3 days per week.

As a Data Engineer, you will:
* Design and implement scalable, modern data solutions using emerging technologies.
* Collaborate with clients to understand and deliver on requirements using strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Job Qualifications
The following skills and experience are essential for this role:
* Proven hands-on experience with AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, IAM, EKS/ECS, Fargate, and networking/security components.
* Proficient in SQL and Python for data engineering tasks.
* Experience with big data challenges, including large-scale data processing and optimization.
* Skilled in Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform and Ansible.
* Strong understanding of cloud security principles and how to apply them in flexible, secure solutions.
* Experience delivering full lifecycle projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
Set yourself apart:
* Experience in client-facing roles.
* AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate/Professional) or equivalent experience.
* Demonstrated leadership or experience managing teams and/or multiple concurrent projects.
