About Your Team
The Brokerage Product Team plays a key role in delivering the Stockbroking strategy to our customers who invest with us directly or via an adviser. The team is responsible for maintaining and developing a market leading, competitive, compliant and efficient proposition for the UK business. We support the overall growth of the stockbroking proposition, working with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure the customer and regulatory requirements and needs are met.
About Your Role
Reporting to the Stockbroking Lead Product Owner, you will support the development and delivery of all Brokerage related initiatives. You will be expected to contribute to the overall growth of the stockbroking proposition, working with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure best client outcomes are achieved. You will be the Senior Product Manager, supporting the delivery of large scale initiatives and strategic projects, working very closely with stakeholders to deliver solutions in a cost effective, efficient, and timely manner, with our target customers at the heart of every decision.
You will engage with and build close working relationships with the Product Teams, Brokerage Capability Team, Investor Servicing, GPS Technology, Business Change, Client Services, Marketing, Legal & Compliance, Market Data, and Analytics Teams to name a few.
Key Responsibilities
 * You will support and collaborate with internal and external parties to deliver innovative, market leading solutions for our customers.
 * You will support the execution of the brokerage roadmap and communicate it to our internal partners and stakeholders.
 * You will review and maintain the brokerage product backlog, specifying items within the backlog and ensuring that they are well defined, prioritised and estimated, and shared with the correct channels for delivery.
 * You will support the design, development and launch of solutions for new products.
 * You will build strong relationships with third party partners such as WBS, Broadridge, ETF Providers, Investment Trust Providers, Market Makers (RSPs), and many others.
 * You will be expected to support the delivery of propositional enhancements for our existing brokerage services.
 * You will support with the ongoing governance and delivery of new and existing brokerage assets on the retail platform.
 * You will enhance the production of accurate and timely brokerage MI, building automation where possible and allowing for analysis of competitor activity and market trends.
About You
 * Stockbroking experience is essential with a strong knowledge of direct securities.
 * Strong understanding of the stockbroking competitive landscape.
 * Strong understanding of regulatory and mandatory obligations.
 * Attention to detail and be able to work effectively under periods of pressure.
 * A team player, who is willing to both share knowledge and learn from others.
 * A core understanding of the technology and operational elements required to deliver end to end change.
 * Ability to prioritise in a face paced environment.
 * Good communication skills, including influencing and negotiating skills, and ability to communicate and manage stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable Skills
 * Strong knowledge of investment funds and related products.
 * Retail Platform experience; D2C or Advised/IFA.
 * Experience of agile methodology.
 * Active interest and demonstrable examples of AI adoption in the workplace.
