Role Summary
Assistant Ranger – 3‑month fixed‑term, working weekends and bank holidays in all weathers across Kingsbury, Pooley Country, and Hartshill Hayes parks. Duties include customer service, habitat management, public access works, site compliance, safety checks, leading events and school visits, maintenance, volunteer management, and bailiff duties for the fishery.
Key Requirements
* Experience working or volunteering in a country park setting.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Practical countryside skills: hand tools, brush cutters, ride‑on mowers.
* Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
