Champion best practices in software development, architecture, and infrastructure to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainabilityEstablish and enforce robust security measures and compliance standards to protect our customers' data and ensure regulatory compliance in all aspects of our operations. Stay abreast of evolving cybersecurity threats and regulatory requirements, implementing proactive measures to mitigate risksAs part of end to end accountability; oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of our technology infrastructure and operations, including cloud services, networks, and data centers. Drive initiatives to improve scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency, leveraging automation and DevOps practices where applicable. Foster strong cross-functional collaboration between engineering, product, marketing, and other teams to ensure alignment and synergy in achieving our business goals. Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including the Bank of the Future Leadership and broader HSBC business and technology leaders, providing regular updates on technology initiatives and performanceRecruit, develop, and retain top engineering talent, building high-performing teams that can deliver innovative solutions at scale.
