Turner Property Recruitment is delighted to be working with a well‑established, independent building consultancy to appoint an Associate Building Surveyor, although experienced Senior Building Surveyors looking to step up will also be considered.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a close‑knit and highly regarded team of around seven professionals based in Bromley, delivering a diverse range of projects across the residential, public sector, education, and civic regeneration sectors.
The Role
You will take ownership of projects from inception through to completion, acting as a trusted advisor to a varied client base and managing commissions across both professional and project‑led instructions.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing building surveying projects from initial brief through to completion.
- Delivering a mix of project and professional building surveying services.
- Acting as the primary client contact on assigned commissions.
- Preparing specifications, schedules of work, and tender documentation.
- Contract administration and project management duties.
- Supporting junior team members where appropriate.
- Contributing to business development and client relationship management.
About You
- MRICS qualified (essential).
- Proven experience within a building consultancy environment.
- Demonstrable track record of managing projects from start to finish.
- Strong client‑facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially aware with excellent communication abilities.
- Capable of working independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture.

Salary & Benefits
- Up to £80,000 package, including a £3,000 car allowance (flexibility available for exceptional candidates).
