Job Description
You will be working with a leading health and care charity who work with individuals and families that are affected by drugs, alcohol, crime, homelessness, domestic abuse and antisocial behaviour.As directed by the Service's Medical Lead, you will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary and multi-agency team delivering recovery-orientated alcohol and drug intervention services.Working hours are full-time, 37.5hours per week, Monday-Friday 9-5.The contract is for 3 months but will be reviewed and potentially extended.In your role you will: Initiate prescribing of and/or make amendments to prescriptions of opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and other related medications.Take a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic, acting as a point of contact for other workers and partner agencies around prescribing issues.Essential Qualifications and ExperienceCurrent NMC registrationPrevious experience in a similar role at a Drug Treatment service, forensics, prison or other similar backgroundStrong communication and teamwork skills.**Please note we do not offer sponsorships**What you'll get in return Weekly paymentsHelp with revalidationFree CPD coursesHoliday payFree DBS checkWhat you need to do nowIf you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
