Job Summary
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant at a Barchester care home, you'll look after the different needs of our residents to enable us to deliver quality, person-centred care and support.
You will supervise and inspire a team of dedicated Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, and support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans, or care reviews. You will respect the dignity and preferences of our residents while creating a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment.
Main Duties
As a Bank Senior Care Assistant, your key responsibilities include supervising a team of dedicated Care Assistants, supporting the clinical team in a specific area, and ensuring a warm, welcoming, and vibrant environment for residents. You will always respect the dignity and preferences of our residents and help maintain person-centred care standards.
About You
You should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. We are looking for warm-hearted, compassionate individuals committed to giving each resident individualised care and support.
