Corporate Commercial Solicitor - Somerset
A well-established and highly regarded Somerset practice have a new opening for an experienced corporate commercial solicitor to join their expanding team to handle a wide range of corporate transactions for individuals, partnerships, and companies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements (e.g., partnership/shareholders, agency)
* Handle changes to company constitutions, share structures, and secretarial tasks
* Draft terms and conditions
* Oversee sales and purchases (both share and assets), debentures, directors' guarantees, commercial contracts, franchises, joint ventures, and company refinancing
* Provide clear, decisive advice to business and private clients
* Manage time effectively and ensure client matters progress smoothly
* Collaborate with commercial colleagues on projects
* Build strong client relationships and market yourself and the firm
Candidate requirements:
* 3+ years PQE and strong technical expertise in corporate commercial matters
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Excellent communication skills
* Commercially aware and capable of building client relationships and business development
