We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Service Advisor to join our Aftersales team at Land Rover Hay on Wye. No previous motor trade experience is required - we are looking for individuals with the right attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
Position: Land Rover Trainee Service Advisor
Full time: 40 hours a week Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Saturday Rota: 8.30am to 12.30pm : on a rota basis paid as overtime
Position pays: Minimum wage wage whilst training, rising to £27,560 plus monthly bonus
Location: Sinclair Land Rover Hay on Wye - LD3 0SL

No previous motor trade experience is required - we are looking for individuals with the right attitude, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn. You will receive full training, including manufacturer-accredited development, to help you grow into a confident and capable Service Advisor.
Aa a Trainee Service Advisor, you will support the team in delivering an exceptional experience for all service and repair customers. Your training and day to day responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting with creating and managing customer workshop bookings
2. Preparing for customer visits and supporting the handover process
3. Learning how to communicate technical advice clearly and professionally
4. Using digital tools and systems in a paperless working environment
5. Supporting the delivery of customer-first and modern luxury brand standards
6. Developing accuracy and attention to detail in tasks such as costing, job cards and recording customer communications

Essential Skills:
7. A passion for delivering great customer service .
8. Confidence when speaking with customers and resolving queries
9. Good computer literacy and willingness to learn new systems
10. The ability to multitask and stay organised in a busy environment
11. Strong communication skills, with the desire to explain information clearly
12. A proactive approach to following processes and guidelines
13. Good core administration skills
14. A full UK driving licence
Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail and or administration would be beneficial but is not essential
