Job Summary

Voyager Family Health is looking for a practical, proactive IT & Clinical Systems Support Officer to help keep our busy GP practice running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving problems, supporting colleagues and working in a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be the go‑to person for day‑to‑day IT support across the practice, helping clinical and administrative staff quickly resolve issues so they can focus on delivering excellent care to our patients. Working closely with the Practice Management Assistant and management team, you will play an important role in ensuring our systems, equipment and technology are reliable and well supported across the practice.

* Hours: 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30
* Location: Farnborough, Hampshire (in person)

Main Duties of the Job

In this role you will provide day‑to‑day IT and systems support across the practice, helping to resolve technical issues that could impact clinics, staff and patient flow. You will act as the first point of contact for IT queries, troubleshooting common issues with hardware, software and practice systems, and escalating more complex problems to NHS IT support where necessary. You don’t need to be a senior IT specialist – but you should be technically confident, practical and solution‑focused. You will also help ensure equipment and workstations are functioning reliably by carrying out routine checks, assisting with IT set‑up for new starters, and supporting meetings or training sessions. The role also includes assisting with some practical facilities tasks that support the smooth running of the practice.
