Support the positioning of John Crane's solutions in the market. This role is based at our headquarters in Slough, working Monday to Friday during normal office hours (hybrid working). Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to)
1. Conduct research to understand customer needs, pain points, satisfaction drivers, and buying journeys across the John Crane customer base.
2. Support the development and maintenance of customer segmentation, personas, and buying journeys to inform marketing strategies.
3. Perform ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative research studies to address specific business questions or challenges.
4. Collaborate with the Marketing Performance Specialist to analyze marketing effectiveness and communicate insights to drive improved ROI.
5. Analyze customer and revenue data across product and service portfolios to identify growth opportunities.
6. Generate actionable intelligence on industry trends and the competitive landscape in collaboration with Strategy and Portfolio teams.
7. Support the management and continuous improvement of Marketing Performance analysis tools and initiatives.
8. Represent the Marketing team in cross-functional insight projects and ensure marketing needs are reflected.
9. Act as a conduit for competitor and industry intelligence entering the marketing function from other departments.
10. Provide actionable insights that drive awareness of commercial opportunities and support effective positioning of John Crane solutions in the market.
Experience and Skills
* Experience in a similar role
* Experience using PowerBi
* Experience designing and implementing online research via tools such as SurveyMonkey or Qualtrics
* Proficiency in data analysis, business process modeling, and requirements gathering techniques
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
