• Contract Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent
• Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm (Monday to Friday)
• Pay: Paid to scale – MPS (Main Pay Scale) + SEN Allowance

Our partner school in Exeter supports students with a variety of special educational needs, including Autism, learning difficulties, and communication challenges. The school provides a nurturing, trauma-informed, and inclusive environment, focusing on both academic and emotional development. With individualized learning plans and a collaborative team approach, the school promotes independence, confidence, and success in every student.
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to students with SEN
• Create and adapt resources to meet individual learning needs
• Develop and review personalized learning plans (PLPs/EHCPs)
• Collaborate closely with support staff, parents, and therapists
• Foster a safe, positive, and engaging classroom environment
What We’re Looking For:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or equivalent)
• Experience teaching students with SEN (desirable but not essential)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Empathy, resilience, and a commitment to inclusive education
• Full UK driver’s license and access to a car (preferred due to location)
