Purpose:
The Transformation Lead will play a key role in providing transformation expertise for our highest value projects within various entities and regions. The role involves joining the transformation program/project working group to lead and support transformations, focusing on operating model and organizational design.
Role Accountabilities
1. Lead and support transformation projects aligned with Business strategy.
2. Collaborate with the Business and Transformation Lead to shape a high-quality transformation strategy and plan, focusing on operating model, organization, and people elements, ensuring value is captured at the right time.
3. Ensure maximum visibility of issues, risks, and mitigations.
4. Provide expert advice on transformation capabilities, especially in operating model and organization design, sharing best practices and external insights.
Leadership in Operating Model and Organization Design
1. Lead initiatives that align structure, people, and processes with business strategy.
2. Lead organization design efforts, including structure analysis, role clarity, and decision-making frameworks.
3. Assess organizational effectiveness.
Building Transformation Capability
1. Develop capabilities within bp for Business and P&C communities.
2. Enhance playbooks and tools to support teams.
Key Relationships
* Internal: Senior Business leaders, Transformation leaders, P&C leaders.
* External: External best practices and partners for insights and project collaboration.
Qualifications
* Higher degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related fields.
Skills
* Deep understanding of transformation capabilities and scenarios, including strategy activation, operating models, and change management.
* Experience in developing operating models and leading organizational design.
* Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
* Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior leaders and diverse teams.
* Ownership mindset with the ability to deliver results in challenging environments.
* Strong influencing, consultancy, and relationship-building skills.
