Overview
High‑Intensity CBT and EMDR therapists are needed for the newly piloted Flourish service within the Complex Trauma Pathway across Dorset, covering locations such as Pan Dorset, Bournemouth, Sherborne, Bridport, Weymouth, Portland, Swanage and Wareham. Roles are available on a full‑time or part‑time basis.
Key responsibilities
* Deliver one‑to‑one high‑intensity CBT or EMDR therapy to adults with symptoms of PTSD and C‑PTSD.
* Provide stabilisation and collaborate with Peer Specialists to support the Flourish care model.
* Maintain accurate clinical records and demonstrate good administrative, time‑management and communication skills.
Qualifications and experience
* Current registration as a mental health therapist or equivalent professional qualification.
* Experience delivering CBT or EMDR for trauma patients is highly desirable.
* Knowledge of complex trauma interventions and familiarity with stabilisation techniques.
* Experience working within the NHS or a similar organisation is desirable.
