We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager from the industrial components and/or consumables sector to manage distribution channels across the UK, Eire, and Nordic regions. The role requires a proven track record of technical sales success via distribution and experience managing relationships across various European regions.
BASIC SALARY: Up to £83,000

Job Description
As the Sales Manager, you will manage approximately 10 distribution partners across the UK, Eire, and Nordic regions, providing technical and commercial support to partners and sales representatives. Roughly 50% of your time will be home‑based and 50% traveling to customer sites, split evenly between the UK and abroad.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with distribution partners and sell technical solutions to customers across designated regions.
* Develop and nurture relationships with partners, supporting their appointments and inviting them to partner on your sales visits.
* Hit and maintain growth targets for the company.
Qualifications and Person Specification
* Proven track record of technical sales success in industrial components or consumable products sold through distribution networks.
* Experience managing partner relationships across various European regions preferred.
* Technical credibility – mechanical engineering qualification or strong relevant experience.
* Strong consultancy skills to present product applications, benefits, and features to partners and customers.
* Self‑motivated with excellent soft‑skills to manage distribution partners and build active partnerships.
* A strategic approach to sales and a focus on long‑term relationship management, rather than short‑term wins.
