The Laboratory Technician will be joining a collaborative and purpose-driven team focused on ensuring the safety and performance of medical devices.
Responsibilities
* Perform product testing in line with established procedures, protocols, and timelines.
* Record test results clearly and accurately in both physical and digital formats.
* Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure calibration is up to date.
* Report any irregularities in test results or equipment performance promptly.
* Support the development of new test methods and equipment.
* Contribute to investigations, prototype evaluations, and exploratory testing.
* Assist with laboratory upkeep and administrative tasks.
* Provide input and support during internal and external audits.
Qualifications
* Degree in Biological or Engineering Sciences, or equivalent laboratory experience.
* Comfortable interpreting technical documentation and following detailed procedures.
* Skilled in using Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and reporting.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to work methodically.
* Able to manage time effectively and remain focused during repetitive tasks.
* Experience with data analysis and a good level of numeracy.
Compensation
Salary or hourly pay range: £27,600.00 - £42,075.00 GBP Annual.
