Job Title: Adult Education and IAG Coordinator As our Adult Education and IAG Coordinator, you’ll hold a vital front-of-house position within the College, providing a welcoming and caring first point of contact for adult learners considering their career options or looking to retrain for new opportunities. You’ll also play an important part in coordinating and supporting exciting new projects and programmes that expand the College’s ability to help adult learners succeed. Provide high-quality initial Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) to students online, via email, over the phone and occasionally face-to-face. Support the running of the CITB Testing Centre, including invigilation, booking, scheduling, and managing candidate enquiries. Use digital and IT systems to record, track, and follow up on candidate enquiries, ensuring a seamless and positive learner experience. Assist in the collection and analysis of performance data, preparing and presenting statistical and financial reports. Support tutors working in the community, attending job fairs and careers events to engage potential learners. Professionally handle inbound and outbound communication with learners and employers, maintaining a high standard of customer service. Demonstrate a strong understanding of safeguarding and equality and diversity in all aspects of your work. Essential Qualifications Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics (GCSE Grade 4/C or above or equivalent). Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook. Demonstrated ability to use digital systems for administration and data management. Essential Experience Minimum 12 months’ experience in a busy administrative environment. Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Strong organisational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities. Experience providing customer service in a professional setting. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Desirable Qualifications NVQ (or equivalent) in Customer Service or Administration. Level 2 Information, Advice & Guidance (IAG) qualification. Desirable Experience Experience working within education, training or careers guidance. Previous experience supporting learners or adult education programmes.
