Full time/part time: Full-Time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

About The Basinghall Clinic
The Basinghall Clinic has a Siemens 1.5T supporting multiple specialities in a one stop pathway and with pre-booked patients. The superintendent will have direct line management to radiographers rotating through the department and will also be covering a Siemens X-ray room as required.
The Centre Lead Radiographer will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of world-class service to our customers, you'll have demonstrable experience in leading a service as a lead or superintendent, able to maintain governance, and proficient in using the Siemans MRI Scanner.
You'll be used to working autonomously, whilst cross-collaborate working with leaders across the diagnostics and secondary care teams.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
1. You’ll supervise a team of Radiographers undertaking modality specific imaging procedures
2. Undertake MRI scans in line with existing modality specific clinical guidelines and protocols
3. Be responsible for maintain high clinical standards in patient care, clinical risk and Health and Safety including ensuring compliance to CQC, MRSA and IRMER guidelines
4. Maintain competence in general x-ray as required
5. Conduct competency assessments at regular intervals, ensuring any development needs are identified and followed up
6. Be actively involved in the recruitment, appointment and induction of new clinical staff
7. Arrange rotas for clinical staff where required
8. Ensure good communication is maintained with the team to deliver a smooth-running service
9. Deal with day to day staff queries, liaising with appropriate support functions where required to resolve the queries within a reasonable timeframe
10. Take ownership of governance activities i.e. audits, personal development, and team meetings with the support of your colleagues
11. Assist with the booking of some appointments and work closely with the Radiologists
12. Work alongside the Cromwell hospital for support and alliance where required
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
13. DCR(R) or BSc in Radiography (Essential)
14. HCPC Registered (Essential)
15. Extensive experience in MRI (Essential)
16. Extensive experience in X-Ray (Essential)
17. Demonstrable experience of leading a service (Essential)
