Job Title: Level 3 Early Years Educator Location: Glossop Hours: Full Time/Part Time hours between 7.30am-6.00pm Mon-Fri Salary: Discuss on interview but meets minimum wage requirements About the Nursery We are a welcoming and well-established day nursery providing high-quality care and early education for children aged 3 months–5 years. Our nursery is a nurturing, play-based environment where children are supported to feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. We pride ourselves on our strong team ethos and positive relationships with families. The Role We are looking for a dedicated Level 3 Early Years Educator to join our nursery team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development, ensuring each child receives high-quality care tailored to their individual needs. Key Responsibilities • Provide a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for all children • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS • Act as a key person, building secure attachments with children and families • Observe, assess, and record children’s development using learning journals • Support children’s personal care routines, including meals, toileting, and sleep • Promote positive behaviour and inclusive practice • Ensure all safeguarding, health, and safety policies are followed • Work effectively as part of a nursery team and contribute to staff meetings and training Person Specification • Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential) • Good understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development • Previous nursery experience is desirable but not essential • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach • Strong communication skills with children, parents, and colleagues • Ability to work flexibly and reliably What We Offer • A friendly and supportive nursery team • Competitive salary with regular reviews • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities • Discounted childcare (where applicable) • Paid holidays and pension scheme Safeguarding Statement We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
