We have an exciting role on offer within our Community Learning service as a Learning Advisor (Parental/Student Engagement).
You will provide individual learning support and guidance throughout programmes including SEN and work with all age ranges including 14‑16 alternative provision students.
You will enable students to achieve work placements, qualification outcomes, learning goals and progressions into further training, volunteering, apprenticeships and/or employment opportunities.
You will complete and monitor aa documentation to support the above.
Qualifications and Experience
* Have experience of working with Vulnerable/SEN/behaviour students.
* Have experience with SEN processes and documentation requirements for EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plans) reviews, including how to carry them out.
* Work in the community with parents and families as required.
* Develop and deliver training programmes to support parents and students.
* Contribute to providing high quality teaching and learning and other key processes, including IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance), learner support, health, and safety, safeguarding and equality and diversity.
