Are you passionate about the environment and want to help protect it for your own and future generations? Are you looking for that first step into an administration role? Or maybe you’re looking for a change of career? This is an incredible opportunity to work towards and gain a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship. This means you will be working in permanent employment, gaining experience and working towards your qualification at the same time. You will play an important role in our national Permitting service, helping us to protect people and the environment and enable green growth. As the business administrator for Integrated Permitting Services (IPS), you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our IPS Leadership Team. You will also work collaboratively with the four business administrators from other permitting regimes (e.g. Water Resources, Waste, Installations) to provide administrative support across the wider Permitting business. On successful completion of the apprenticeship you will have the skills, knowledge and behaviours to undertake the responsibilities below: • Manage our business data including data storage, people management information and delivery against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Filter and direct incoming queries, identifying urgent and/or sensitive matters and dealing with them appropriately. Undertake general administrative duties and tasks as assigned by your manager e.g. to support recruitment. Arrange meetings, book venues and sort out travel and hotel bookings. We work at home and in the office, and support flexible working hours to help you balance your work and personal life. This role is based in our Sheffield office, and we would expect you to work from there at least 20% of the time.
