What is the job role? Mount Nod Primary is a thriving and vibrant school and we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to appoint as a Teaching Assistant to support the teacher in delivering the curriculum to pupils aged 3 to 11 years. The ideal candidate must have: Experience of working with children 3 to 11 years. Excellent communication skills in order to develop close partnerships with staff, children and parents. Experience of intervention programmes/phonics/maths Confidence in planning and working with small groups of children. The ability to be flexible and open to working with children of varying and additional needs Candidates will be required to hold a full and relevant Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification. You will have the ability to support the teacher in the planning and organisation of appropriate activities for children aged 3 to 11 years and to work within the agreed framework of procedures. You will have a good understanding of Health and Safety requirements in order to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment that addresses the needs of the individual child. You will be required to attend staff meetings and training when required.
