Security Officer Corporate - Eastleigh - Chandlers Ford
Weekly hours: 4 on 4 off days shift pattern with an average of 38 hours per week over the year.
Hourly rate: £12.41
Job Overview
* To protect our customer's property, people, and assets by providing security services in accordance with the site's published Assignment Instructions (AI's) and any subsequent updates.
* Deliver results that meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators / Service Level Agreements, ensuring full responsibility and accountability to aid in contract retention.
* Undertake additional training for continuous self-development.
* Perform various roles within the building, including issuing passes and keys, monitoring CCTV, covering reception, and dealing with visitors from contractors to business personnel.
* Conduct patrols and report incidents.
* Utilize MS Office, CCTV, and access control systems.

Main Duties
Operations
* Ensure compliance with all policies, legal, and regulatory requirements as directed by the Security Account Manager and UK law.
* Complete all tasks as defined in the published AI's, reviewing and suggesting improvements.
* Maintain compliance with industry and statutory legislation, including front-line licensing in Security Guarding or Door Supervision, worn at all times.
* Follow instructions and procedures appropriately, working systematically and orderly.
Training
* Complete all required competency training satisfactorily.
* Undertake additional training for self-development as directed.
* Use technology to achieve objectives and develop professional knowledge.
* Renew licenses 16 weeks before expiry.
Security and Health & Safety
* Report any hazards immediately.
* Stay alert to threats or changes to reduce risks.
* Maintain professional conduct, even in challenging situations.
* Accurately document incidents for reports.
* Adhere to schedules and demonstrate commitment.
* Carry out check calls as per AI's.
* Report incidents to emergency services and Communication Centre.
