Role: Business Manager - Central Support Office
Location: Hertfordshire (on-site 5 days per week)
Salary: circa £60k per annum
We are a growing care home provider with a wealth of experience in the sector. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a capable and versatile Business Manager to support our operations.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys variety and working independently across different functions. Please note: this position does not involve managing a team or holding a leadership title – it is suited to someone who thrives on delivering results through their own expertise.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee purchasing and purchase ledger activities.
* Manage facilities and estates requirements, including remedial works.
* Maintain and update contracts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
* Carry out auditing activities, pulling information together across systems and downloading invoices from multiple portals.
* Provide broad administrative support across the business.
* Ensure smooth use of Sage, with proficient and up-to-date knowledge.
About You
* Proficient in Sage with recent, hands-on experience.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage varied responsibilities effectively.
* Comfortable working independently and taking initiative.
* Detail-oriented, with a good understanding of contracts, compliance, and auditing processes.
* Adaptable and proactive, able to support a growing organisation across different functions.
