Our customers include civil engineering and construction contractors, asset owners, and consulting engineering firms through to small builders. We are currently seeking a Sales Director to lead our Sales function at board level. This is a high-impact and strategic role, offering the opportunity to shape and drive our commercial agenda across the business. As a key member of the leadership team, the Sales Director will play a crucial role in influencing company direction and delivering sustainable growth. Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to consistently meet or exceed sales objectives. Identify new market opportunities and expand our customer base. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand their needs and provide solutions. Provide direction to the sales teams to ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction. Develop and implement customer retention strategies. Product and Service Development: Work closely with product development to identify and prioritise new product/service offerings. Gather and incorporate customer feedback into product/service improvement efforts. Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget. Monitor expenses and ROI to ensure cost-effective operations. Data Analysis and Reporting: Utilise data analytics to track and report on sales performance. Use insights to make informed decisions and adjustments to strategies. Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends and competitive landscapes. Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and threats. What You Need Degree in relevant subject Track record of successfully driving sales performance through insight and deep knowledge of the industry Strong leadership and strategic thinking Comprehensive understanding of the markets and networks we operate in 10 years at a similar level Preferred – MBA Interview Process Initial telephone / Microsoft Teams call, the line manager or Human Resources may conduct this Interview – In person, held by the line manager Final Stage – JOB OFFER!
