Join Barclays as a Physical Security Support Specialist, where you'll support Physical Security operations, focusing on business-as-usual security operations, incident management, and security risk management. You will play a pivotal role in agile operations across the region.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Strong understanding of physical security systems (e.g., access control, CCTV), including their implementation and operation in a corporate environment.
* Proven experience in Security Risk Assessments, stakeholder engagement, controls, with the ability to identify, evaluate, and manage potential threats.
* Proficiency in handling security incidents and crisis situations, including developing response plans and leading teams during emergencies.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Purpose of the role
Develop risk management strategies to protect the bank's regional sites against various risks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage specialist security services, conduct site-level security oversight, and review physical controls.
* Implement security policies and controls across systems, applications, and networks.
* Develop and execute risk mitigation strategies, including training colleagues and managing physical security risks such as access, fire, and natural disasters.
* Create and test crisis management and contingency plans through simulations.
* Manage relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and regulatory agencies to align security operations with organizational objectives.
