Are you a passionate and experienced Teaching Assistant looking to make a difference in a vibrant, inclusive primary school? We are seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our committed team from September 2025.
About the Role
This is a full-time position supporting learning across all key stages within a mainstream primary setting. As a Level 3 TA, you'll work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver high-quality support to individuals and groups of pupils. You may also be asked to lead learning activities independently and support children with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide classroom support to ensure effective teaching and learning
* Assist in planning and delivering tailored interventions
* Support the emotional and social development of pupils
* Work with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, as required
* Contribute to the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays
* Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers
* Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Previous experience working in a primary school setting
* Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
