We re searching for a Building Surveyor with a strong technical grounding and a flair for project delivery. If you enjoy variety, responsibility and working closely with clients to deliver meaningful results, this is one not to miss.
The Role
You ll play a key role in the project team, contributing to everything from scheme development to tender packages, funding applications, site inspections and contract administration. Expect a mix of design involvement, technical reporting, client liaison and hands on project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop project briefs, designs, specs and tender documents
* Support funding bids (SCA / CIF) with surveys, research and technical input
* Carry out site visits, H&S reporting, minutes and contract admin duties
* Assist with core building surveying tasks including condition surveys, defect analysis and RICS survey reporting
* Coordinate documentation to keep projects running smoothly
* Work collaboratively across technical teams to deliver high quality outcomes
What You ll Bring
Essential:
* 2 3 years experience in a project surveying / project management role
* Strong client facing communication skills
* Ability to work proactively, manage deadlines and produce high quality documentation
* Excellent Microsoft Office skills (including MS Project)
* Full UK driving licence + DBS
* Highly organised, professional and confident working with clients, contractors and consultants
Desirable:
* Professional qualifications (RICS, CIOB, NEBOSH, IOSH, Fire, etc.)
* Experience supporting junior team members
* PRINCE2 / APM or similar project management credentials
* Previous client management exposure
