Responsibilities of a Shift Leader include:
* Coaching staff to deliver excellent customer service
* Producing high-quality food
* Delivering the Jersey Mike's experience
* Cash handling
* Following the Training Program
* Developing team members for career growth
* Enforcing policies and procedures
* Participating in marketing initiatives
* Building sales
* Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation
* Being certified in all four restaurant positions
* Effective communication and a sense of urgency
Expectations for a Shift Leader:
* Move or transport up to 50 lbs as needed
* Work 38-40 hours per week
* Have reliable transportation
* Communicate with management about issues
* Lead by example in food quality, customer interaction, and appearance
* Create food according to quality standards
* Maintain a clean restaurant environment
* Work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
* Multitask effectively and provide exceptional customer experiences
* Understand accountability and integrity
* Perform opening and closing tasks
* Manage a team of 2-5 people
* Proficient in slicing
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 1 year QSR experience preferred
* Must be 18+ to operate slicer
* Serve Safe Food Handler Certification
* Reliable transportation
