Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise the mixing and processing teams to ensure efficient and accurate batch production.
* Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily mixing operations in alignment with production targets and deadlines.
* Ensure all formulations are prepared according to approved master formulas and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Monitor key process parameters (temperature, viscosity, pH, density, etc.) to maintain product consistency and quality.
* Oversee the weighing, measuring, and dispensing of raw materials according to formulation requirements.
* Collaborate with R&D and Quality Control to troubleshoot batch issues and optimize formulations.
* Implement and maintain strict hygiene, safety, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) standards within the mixing area.
* Manage equipment maintenance schedules and coordinate with engineering for any repairs or calibrations.
* Train, motivate, and evaluate staff to promote skill development and ensure high performance.
* Maintain detailed batch production records and ensure traceability of all raw materials and processes.
* Contribute to continuous improvement projects aimed at reducing waste, improving efficiency, and enhancing product quality.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetic Science, or related field.
* Minimum 5–7 years of experience in cosmetic or personal care manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
* Strong knowledge of formulation processes, mixing technologies, and GMP requirements.
* Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively with R&D, QC, and Production Planning teams.
* Familiarity with safety regulations and environmental standards in cosmetic production.
Reports To:
Manufacturing Managers / Operations Director
Laboratory and production floor environment, with occasional office‑based administrative tasks.
