This post is a job-share and there is flexibility with the days either at the beginning or the end of the week. This post is suitable for an ECT.
We are looking for a teacher who has:
* Proven ability to work effectively alongside others to have a significant impact on pupil's attainment
* Proven highly effective Year 1/Year 2 classroom practice
* Strong knowledge of phonics and early reading and writing. Supports the ethos from the new writing framework.
* Proven ICT skills and Interactive Whiteboard teaching
* Clear understanding of assessing pupil's progress
* Comprehensive understanding of the needs of pupils with SEND needs within the mainstream classroom
* Excellent communication skills with children, parents and colleagues
* Ability to build effective relationships with adults and children
* Work as part of an effective team with humour and dedication
* Good organisation skills
* Uses their initiative
