Job Description
* Lead and manage medium to large-sized electrical engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
* Develop and oversee electrical system designs, including power distribution, lighting, and control systems
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems with other building components
* Prepare detailed project specifications, cost estimates, and design programs
* Manage project finances and resources to meet agreed-upon deliverables within budget
* Conduct quality control reviews of design calculations and drawings
* Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering their professional development
* Participate in client meetings and presentations to discuss project requirements and progress
* Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and relevant codes and standards
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of our electrical engineering practices and methodologies
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
* Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a proven track record in design and project management
* Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards, including local Singapore regulations
* Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, or similar tools
* Experience with BIM software packages and their application in electrical design
* Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage resources, timelines, and budgets
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
