Senior Video Analyst
The Company
A well-established and highly respected media research and advisory firm, widely regarded as one of the most authoritative voices covering the UK and European television, streaming, and digital media landscape. The firm produces independent, evidence-based research read at strategy director and CEO level across broadcasters, streamers, platforms, agencies, and technology companies. Small, senior, and influential - with an outsized reputation relative to its size.
The Role
The media team is looking for a Senior Video Analyst to contribute to and lead research on the TV, online video, and audio markets. Day-to-day this means:

* Supporting consultancy projects for major media and technology clients
* Tracking audience data and market developments, including the use of BARB
* Presenting findings to senior client stakeholders
* Building and maintaining relationships with journalists and key industry figures
* Developing client relationships in support of the firm's subscription research service
What We're Looking For
* 4+ years of experience in the television or video sector, ideally within a broadcaster, streamer, media agency, or research organisation
* A strong working knowledge of BARB data - analysis experience is expected
* Genuinely sharp on the TV landscape: audiences, commissioning, advertising, streaming economics, and the competitive dynamics between platforms
* Highly analytical, with solid data handling skills and comfort with Excel and basic forecasting
* An excellent writer - clear, precise, and confident in forming and defending a view
* An interest in sports rights and sports audiences would be a bonus
* Able to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and collaborate across teams
Why It's Worth Considering
This is a rare opportunity to join one of the most influential research businesses in the media industry at a senior level. Analysts here have genuine reach - work is read and acted upon at the highest levels of the UK and European media and tech sectors. There is real scope to carve out a specialism and build a profile externally through client relationships, media commentary, and industry events. The firm is small enough that good work is visible, and the role comes with significant autonomy from day one.
