Summary
The role involves providing Managed Inventory Services to hospitals across the UK, including conducting stock checks and delivering supplies to ward levels.
Key Accountabilities
* Collect data on inventory levels in hospital wards.
* Verify orders upon arrival and distribute supplies accordingly.
* Maintain high standards in product delivery—keeping ward storage tidy, grouping products, and managing expiries.
* Serve as the primary contact for on-site customer queries and relay information to the back office.
* Manage product expiry dates on-site, recording and distributing as needed.
* Advise and refit wards with suitable storage solutions to optimize stock holding.
* Complete maintenance records for hire vehicles and report faults.
* Participate in service reviews with customers.
* Audit pipeline accounts to determine service needs and storage solutions.
* Complete BAXU training on schedule.
* Address all customer queries effectively.
* Report site issues promptly.
* Sign all PODs fully on behalf of customers.
* Ensure Baxter equipment is recovered and returned to NDC, using appropriate supplies.
Essential Criteria
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and communication skills.
* Stakeholder management abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Strong customer-facing skills.
Experience
* Experience in warehouse operations or hospital environments.
* Familiarity with Microsoft packages.
* Track record of achieving operational KPIs.
* Confidence and experience in long-distance driving.
Knowledge
* Understanding of Lean principles.
* Basic knowledge of CQC protocols in healthcare settings.
Job Requirements
* Flexible working patterns.
* Valid UK driving license for nationwide travel as a lone worker.
* Full DBS clearance.
* Manual handling capability.
