Field Service Engineer
Located around the M62 Corridor, United Kingdom
Your Tasks
* Carry out customer visits assigned by the Service Administration team, including the scheduling and customer communication
* Performing a variety of calibrations on a range of manufacturers material test equipment to UKAS standards
* Providing installation, maintenance, training and calibration services to customers on their MTS systems
* Preparation of visit, calibration, installation and service reports with a keen eye for detail
* Supporting the Sales and Operations departments
* Ensuring compliance with the quality system, health and workplace safety regulations, legal regulations, CE requirements, as well as internal, technical guidelines to prevent health and financial risk
* Maintaining costs within budget
Your Qualifications
* Degree or similar in electrical or mechanical engineering
* Calibration experience in a similar environment
* Experience in customer support and field service
* Knowledge and understanding of hydraulic and electro-mechanical systems
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
* Clean driving license
* Willingness to travel, be flexible and work independently as well as a team player
* A friendly, approachable, customer-centric attitude and approach
