Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with Florida licensure and recent inpatient rehab experience for an inpatient rehab department assignment.
Responsibilities
Position is within an inpatient rehab department
Shift is from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
Patient ratio is typically 4 to 5 patients per therapist
Unit consists of 24 beds and a staff of 17, including PT, OT, and ST for day shifts
Uses typical inpatient rehab gym equipment
Weekend rotation required approximately one weekend per month, with compensatory days off before and after
Responsibilities focus on providing typical physical therapy treatments to rehab patients
Candidates must be flexible and able to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Experienced team with strong relationships among staff and nursing
Expected to work holidays and every other weekend in rotation
Scrubs in appropriate colors for the unit are required
Requirements
Active Florida Physical Therapist license required if applicable
Minimum of 6 months recent experience in inpatient rehab within the last 6 months
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
U.S. Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
