As a Storesperson in our dynamic Data Centre Services team, you'll be stepping into one of the most innovative and fast-evolving sectors of the facilities management industry. What you'll do:
A Storeperson primarily supports the premises at our Chedburgh office and stores. Key responsibilities include:
Reliable – we are seeking a reliable ad organised individual who will be responsible for receiving, collecting from wholesalers, storing safely and distributing electrical materials and equipment.
Organised – you must be a very organised and tidy person and adhere to all health and safety requirements.
Inventory – you will maintain the store inventory accurately and ensure all our tradespeople have the correct equipment they require to complete jobs efficiently.
* To receive, inspect and record deliveries and collections of materials.
* Organise store stock in a safe an accessible manner.
* Maintain accurate inventory records using our stock management system.
* Monitor stock levels and notify management of low inventory or supply needs.
* Prepare materials and tools for job sites.
* Assist with loading and unloading of deliveries either on site or at stores.
* Conduct regular stock takes and audits to maintain stock accuracy.
* Maintain Cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse.
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
* Liaise with suppliers, couriers and internal staff as required.
Being part of the team – Working as part of the delivery team, at times the role will be required to attend project sites in a support function, and this may involve the delivery and collection of materials and project waste. It may also be the case that at times and in the event of preventing lone working of our engineers there may be a requirement to assist our engineer teams with their day to day works, but this will be infrequent and on an ad hoc basis.

Key Skills & Requirements:
* Previous experience in a storeperson or warehouse role (preferably in an electrical trade environment)
* Knowledge of electrical materials, tools and fittings would be an advantage.
* Basic computer literacy for inventory.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Good communications skills and attention to detail.
* Physically fit able to lift heavy items.
* Must hold driving licence.
